Bass Guitarist: Ron Carter Jr.

Ron Carter Jr was born and raised in New York City. He attended the Manhattan School of Music from age 6 to 17 studying classical trumpet. He also attended New York’s famous High school of Music and Art.

Ron has performed or collaborated with artists such as Johnny Kemp, Keith Sweat, Omar Hakim, Poogie Bell, Bernard Wright, Marcus Miller, Redman, Onyx and Christopher Williams to name just a few When not playing with K2 Ron moonlights with singer Ray Green’s band Innervisions.

And... the answer is yes!  Ron is the son of jazz acoustic bass icon, Ron Carter Sr.
