Drummer: : Andrew Marsh

Andrew grew up in the mountains of Northwest Georgia. Music started for him in the local Baptist Church. Playing drums with the gospel choir inspired him to explore the styles of Big Band and Straight- ahead jazz. As a teenager he played in the Spirit of Atlanta Drum & Bugle Corp mastering complex snare drum rhythms as well as learning to be quite the showman.

Andrew moved to Boston in 1998 for scholarship studies at the Berklee School of Music where he was immediately touted as a rising star. Andrew has studied with most of the local drum masters and has performed with literally a who's-who list of well known contemporary artists including Lauyren Hill, BB King and Roy Hargrove. When not performing with K2 Andrew plays with his own bands Project X and the usual Suspects.
